Psychedelic Integration
For those seeking professional support in their psychedelic journey
What is Psychedelic Integration?
Integration is the bridge between extraordinary moments of clarity and lasting, meaningful change. It begins before any psychedelic experience—with thoughtful preparation, a setting of intentions, and considering your safety. After your psychedelic experience, we work closely together to better understand your insights in an effort to weave them into your everyday world.
Psychedelic experiences can bring challenging material to the surface. Difficult emotions, memories, or overwhelming realizations can come up. When experiences are difficult or confusing, we’ll create a supportive narrative that promotes safety and stability while honoring what emerged.
I work with people at any stage of this journey, whether you're preparing for an experience, processing recent insights, or working through complex responses that need careful attention.
The Integration Process
Integration unfolds on its own timeline. Unlike traditional weekly therapy, our sessions might be intensive initially, then space out as you find stability. Some benefit from just a few focused sessions, while others prefer ongoing support.
We'll explore what your experience revealed using mindfulness practices, body awareness, and experiential techniques that help you embody insights rather than just think about them. If you're already working with another therapist, integration sessions complement that relationship beautifully.
I can also connect you with practitioners offering non-substance approaches to expanded states of consciousness, which support the ongoing integration process.
